Yes. Houses are built by people working fast, and oversights are normal. Phase inspections (pre-pour slab, pre-drywall and final before closing) find problems while they are cheap to fix, and a 1-year builder warranty inspection catches what shows up after you move in.
About four business days. Health department results can take two to four weeks, which is longer than most inspection periods. The standard test covers total coliform, E. coli, nitrates, nitrites and lead.
Home inspection reports are emailed the day of the inspection. Wind mitigation and 4-point forms are signed and emailed before Paul leaves the property.
