Below are resources to help you as a realtor.
As a home inspector I know that realtors have a difficult job what with all the paperwork and large amount of information that has to be processed and organized for every home sale. Not to mention interacting with the buyer, the seller, the sellers agent, the mortgage broker, the appraiser, the list goes on and on….
I try to make your life as easy as possible by providing good home inspections, being available to answer questions, and providing resources like those found below. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to make your job as easy as possible.

Training for Realtors
Ever wondered how to tell the difference between Stucco and EIFS? Or how to guarantee a water problem doesn’t become a mold problem? What should you do about that mold in the bathroom?
With my training as a home inspector and my background in the water, mold and fire insurance restoration business, I can answer these questions. I offer free, informal training talks for realtors at their offices. Click on the Free Training for Realtors image to the left to view all the topics I cover.
Stucco / EIFS Identification Card
This card explains the basics of how to tell the difference between real stucco and EIFS / synthetic stucco. Real stucco is made of cement, while synthetic stucco typically has a polystyrene foam board covered with a thin layer of a elasticized coating. Some synthetic stucco has had problems in the past, typically due to poor installation. Know what you’re dealing with when showing a home by keeping this card in your glove box for easy reference.
